Sumner grad Ashley Robinson honored by UCM

Ashley Robinson, a 2021 Sumner Academy graduate, was recently honored by the University of Central Missouri, where she is now completing a degree with a major in kinesiology.

Robinson was selected to Who’s Who at UCM, which was awarded to fourteen outstanding members of the school’s 1,300-student senior class. An awards reception and ceremony were held at the Warrensburg campus on April 10.

During her time at UCM, Robinson served as secretary of Risen Multicultural Ministry, secretary of Anointed by Christ Gospel Choir, and outreach coordinator for First-Gen Network. She was also part of the McNair Scholars Program.

Ashley Robinson was a standout track athlete for Sumner Academy in the class of 2021. She went on to compete at Allen Community College before completing her education at the University of Central Missouri.
