A crowd of hundreds turned out to watch the Silver City Day parade then headed down to Emerson Park to enjoy performances from bands and dancers, and wares from food and craft vendors as the cool morning turned to a steamy afternoon.

The Argentine Betterment Corporation sponsors the event, which celebrates the historic KCK neighborhood and the Hispanic heritage that is a hallmark of the area.
