Sunday evening at 7:18 p.m., Kansas City, Kan. police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2700 block of South 8th Terr., a dead-end residential street just west of Rosedale Park and south of I-35.

When officers arrived, they discovered a man outside a residence, the victim of apparent gunshot wounds, who was pronounced deceased on scene.

The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle prior to officers’ arrival. KCKPD detectives are currently investigating the case and request that anyone with information on the case call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
