The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department has positively identified the body pulled on Thursday from the Missouri River is Brandon Anfinson, an Argentine resident.

Anfinson’s family reported him missing from his home on March 21st, and law enforcement, family, friends, and the community volunteers conducted extensive searches of the area for him. On Thursay, the Kansas City, Missouri Police and Fire Departments recovered a report of a body in the Missouri River, and on Friday, the body was positively identified as Anfinson.

The KCKPD Major Case Unit is investigating the death, and anyone with information on this case is urged to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS. All tips remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
