A recent write-up in KC Hiker, an online magazine for avid and novice hikers in the Kansas City area, put a spotlight on trails at Wyandotte County Lake Park and the Hollis Center.

The park is a well-known icon of western Wyandotte, but less known is the Hollis Center, a private Lutheran retreat center that opens its trails to the public for hiking and exploring.
