Friends of the Kaw will hold a One KC Kansas River Cleanup on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to clean up the river’s banks at Kaw Point Park.

The public is invited to participate. Prospective river cleaners should “wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty.” Refreshments and water bottle refill stations will be available.
