The UG Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a free swim day at Parkwood Pool from noon to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11. The pool is located at 950 Quindaro Blvd.

The pool was the subject of a special UG commission meeting in May, where options to refurbish or expand the 1970s-era facility were presented.
