From now through January 31, 2025, the Unified Government Parks and Recreation Department will recycle Christmas trees through drop-offs at four sites around the area.

The department asks that all decorations be removed from trees before dropping them off.

The four sites are:

• City Park (2601 Park Dr., south and east from the park entrance)
• Leo Alvey Park (4850 Metropolitan Ave., off 47th St. near the playground)
• Stony Point Park (531 N. 86th St., next to the parking lot)
• Wyandotte County Park (600 N. 126th St., near the baseball fields.
