Washington’s Darreon Baskin eluded a tackle from Schlagle’s Joseph Richardson in Friday’s match-up between the Meadowlark Conference rivals.

Bishop Ward got its first victory of the season with a two-score win over Baldwin, while Washington avenged last year’s upset to Schlagle to run its record to 6-1, equaling 2019’s total. The Wildcats have not won seven games in a season since 2004 under coach Darwin Franklin, but they’ll have the chance next week against Highland Park.
