Dr. Prasanth Reddy, a former oncologist and medical researcher from Lenexa, pulled out a 7-point win over small business owner Karen Crnkovich in the third district Republican primary on Aug. 9.

Reddy will face incumbent Sharice Davids of Roeland Park in November’s Congressional election. Davids, a lawyer and former community developer, has represented the district since 2019 and was unopposed in the Democratic primary.

Libertarian candidate Steve Roberts of Overland Park, a former teacher and member of the state Board of Education, will also be on November’s ballot.
